I am currently working at the hospital here in the Philippines as a Nursing Assistant and as a nursing assistant my roles are monitoring the patients vital signs, conditions and signs and symptoms of the disease. Its my role also to take the input and output of the patient and record it to their charts. It is my role also to secure that their IV fluids is well maintained and regulated. I am also participating in CPR during emergency cases. Assisting in inserting NGT and IFC Catheterization. Doing also a post mortem care to the deceased patients. In my previous job i was a caregiver for 9 years including my working experience in HK for a months where i handled Bed ridden Parkinsons patient with NGT. With my over all experience as a caregiver for a very long time i already specialized in handling elderlies and persons with mental disabilities. I am able to manage patient with NGT , Tracheostomy, Colostomy And Catheter, as well as managed in giving insulin shot for diabetic patients. In my years of experience i handled different cases such as stroke, Parkinsons, Alzheimers,Cancer, COPD, Diabetic and recent covid positive patients in the hospital.
